Osteopathy and physical therapies in Mallorca

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework. An osteopathic physician will focus on the joints, muscles, and spine. Treatment aims to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. Manual medicine means that both diagnosis and treatment are carried out with the hands.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medications. You may wish to bring shorts and t-shirt to change into for your treatment.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, we will discuss your treatment plan for your rehabilitation process.

What should I wear to my appointment?

If we are treating your feet you will not be asked to undress but if we are treating your spine, you will be more comfortable wearing modest underwear or even a pair of shorts can be appropriate.
